How thibit handles data

The operational practices thibit states on its security page (last updated 23 July 2026):

Connections use TLS, with HSTS.
Webhooks are signed with HMAC.
Verification evidence is encrypted at rest and deleted automatically after 60 days.
Errors are monitored, with alerting.
thibit runs a public status page.
